My husband and I love to watch documentaries. Thank goodness for Netflix! There are so many documentaries on Netflix about food and health. We have a bunch that we always recommend to our friends if they want to learn more about their health. Our favorite by far is Forks over Knives. It is such a powerful documentary on a plant-based diet. My second favorite is Hungry for Change. This one is a shocker, an eye opener to the truth about sugar. The third one that I think is a must watch, is Fed Up. We have watched a number of the documentaries listed a few times. It helps to refresh your mind on your health!
There is a lot of misinformation out there. I guess the only way to put it, is that people are not properly educating themselves. They are too accepting of what is presented, no questioning of what is being placed in front of them. Our society is being brainwashed with fast food, being told that there is not enough time in our busy lives to make a healthy, home cooked meal. That is too expensive to eat healthy, cheaper to roll through a drive through. This is all a myth, a way to get you to consume more processed, unhealthy, fattening food.
You need to see it for yourself, make your own conclusion. I cannot convince you alone. I can only show you how to eat healthier and make better decisions. That is the reason that I have created this web site, along with my blog!
