  1. Prepare the flax-egg and set aside to let thicken. Heat the waffle iron.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, protein powder, cinnamon, and baking powder.
  3. Add the flax-egg and mix.
  4. Next, pour in the cashew milk and stir until mixture becomes a thick batter.
  5. Pour batter into heated waffle iron and cook until crispy.
  6. Top your warm waffle with a little vegan butter and some organic maple syrup, enjoy!
